Coverage: We warrant our Affordable Pool garage floors for three (3) years against adhesion failure and cracking not caused by substrate movement, as set forth in our official warranty documentation.
Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damage from abuse, excessive weight or force, chemical spills, prolonged standing water, UV discoloration, color variation from samples, or any cracking that results from concrete movement or instability.
Maintenance obligations: Routine cleaning and a reglaze top-coat every 2–3 years keep your floor looking fresh and maintain its protective seal. The cost of reglazing is the homeowner’s responsibility.
All implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, etc.) are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law. Affordable Pool is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
A ½-inch layer of clean river pebbles mixed with a high-solids, UV-stable epoxy binder and trowelled directly over your existing concrete deck—no jack-hammering required. It cures to a seamless, breathable surface that hides cracks and stains while adding natural texture.
Yes. Independent heat-tests show pebble finishes stay up to 10–20 °F cooler than gray or stamped concrete because the open matrix stores less solar heat and the light-colored stones reflect sunlight.
The rounded stone texture plus microscopic grout lines create natural grip; water drains through instead of forming puddles, giving the deck a high wet-traction rating—ideal for kids running around the pool.
No. The porous structure lets splash-water percolate through to the concrete below and evaporate, virtually eliminating puddles and the algae rings they create.
In almost every case, no. As long as the slab is sound, we grind it, patch visible cracks, and overlay the stone layer—saving you demolition cost and mess.
A typical 400–600 sq ft pool deck is completed in 1–2 days. You can walk on it after about 12 hours and resume swimming in roughly 48 hours, weather permitting.
The epoxy we use is UV-stable and chemical-resistant; light surface rinse after heavy chemical spills is all that’s needed. Stones are naturally color-fast, so no fading or chalking from sun or pool water.
Sweep or hose as needed; every 2–3 years apply a clear “reglaze” seal coat (homeowner cost) to refresh the binder and keep stones locked tight.
The ½″ layer bridges hairline cracks. If the concrete moves later, the crack can mirror through and is excluded from warranty—but localized repairs are simple: grind, patch, and re-trowel the area.
Choose from 4 signature coastal blends or 1 000-plus custom mixes; we can even create borders or inlays to match tile, coping, or landscape stone.
Your pool deck is covered by our 3-year limited warranty against adhesion failure and cracking not caused by slab movement. Damage from abuse, harsh chemicals, or lack of reglaze is excluded (see full terms).
Southern-California projects usually fall in the $7–$20+ per sq ft range, depending on slab prep and color blend. We provide a firm, itemized quote after a free on-site inspection.
